Tongnyi Nyingjé Ling

Meaning the 'Center for Wisdom and Compassion' in Tibetan, Tongnyi Nyingjé Ling is set on 350 stunning acres, with views of the Catskill Mountains and home to dozens of species of wildlife and flora. Located within the area known as the Helderberg Hilltown's, Tongnyi Nyingjé Ling has been described by several Tibetan teachers as a special place that will have tremendous significance for the people who come here. Tongnyi Nyingjé Ling is also home to the 'Path for Peace and Compassion', a trail that winds through some of the most beautiful forests on the property. The entrance to the trail is adorned with a handmade, Japanese-style kiosk, crafted entirely by local volunteers and artisans. The Path for Peace and Compassion is open to the public.
